Au fil d’un travail constant et de recherches plastiques dans le domaine sculptural, Xavier Magaldi a conçu des “idoles” d’un genre nouveau, en hybridant les références dans la suite logique de son esthétique aux influences harmonieusement croisées.
Mettant en lumière la subtilité de sa signature plastique, l’artiste a ainsi choisi de présenter “The Guardians”, sous la bonne garde bienveillante de nouvelles résines translucides les représentant flottant dans un cosmos dont lui seul a le secret.
Tous les éléments convergent ainsi en un seul axe afin de donner vie à ces spectaculaires objets que l’on croirait directement issus de l’univers de la science-fiction et auxquels on prêterait volontiers des pouvoirs surnaturels.
Over years of steadfast work and experimentation in the sculptural field, Xavier Magaldi has created “idols” of a new kind by hybridizing references according to the logic of a singular aesthetic made of harmoniously intertwined influences.
Highlighting the subtlety of his aesthetic signature, the artist has chosen to present “The Guardians” under the safe custody of new translucent resins that hold them floating in a cosmos to which he alone holds the secret.
All the elements thus converge into a single axis so as to bring life to these spectacular objects, which one would believe have materialized straight out of the vast universe of science fiction… and to which one could easily lend supernatural powers.
